You pay at the end of the visit, by cash or card. We give you an itemised receipt and a written medical report in English, which is what almost every travel insurer asks for when you claim the money back.
Some insurers will settle with us directly instead. That depends on your policy, so tell reception at the start of the visit rather than the end, and we will make the call while you are being seen.
When you should go to hospital instead
A walk-in clinic is the right choice for most problems, but not all of them. Go straight to a hospital emergency department, or call 1669 for an ambulance, if you have:
- Chest pain, or breathlessness at rest
- Weakness on one side of the body, a drooping face, or slurred speech
- A head injury with vomiting, confusion or a blackout
- Heavy bleeding that does not slow down with firm pressure
- A broken bone that looks bent out of shape, or a wound you can see bone in
- Confusion or drowsiness in someone with a high temperature
Confusion is the single most useful warning sign to remember. A traveller who is hot and tired is usually manageable. A traveller who is hot and does not know what day it is needs a hospital now.

No. Walk in whenever you need to. If you would prefer we expect you, send a WhatsApp message with your name and roughly when you are coming, and we will have your file open when you arrive.
How much does a consultation cost?
A standard doctor consultation starts at a fixed fee, and anything beyond that — tests, dressings, medication, injections — is added item by item and shown to you before it is done. Ask for the price at any point. Nothing is charged without telling you first.
Can a doctor come to my hotel instead?
Yes. We cover Bang Tao, Cherng Talay, Laguna, Layan and Surin. A doctor hotel visit costs more than coming in, but if you are vomiting or cannot walk it is the sensible option.
Do you speak English?
Yes, all consultations are in English. We also see a lot of Russian and Chinese guests and can usually arrange help with translation if you tell us in advance.
Are you open on public holidays?
Yes. We do not close. Public holidays in Thailand are when pharmacies and smaller clinics shut, which is exactly when people need us most.
